It’s Time for a Name Change: Part II “Neurogenic Frozen Shoulder”

A little over a year ago I wrote a blog post titled “It’s time for a name change” regarding Frozen Shoulder. The post highlighted a type of frozen shoulder observed histologically with white scar and myofibroblast around the joint capsule along with angiogenesis and fibroblastic activity surrounding the rotator cuff interval. The post referenced an author promoting a name change to “contracture of the shoulder” ⁽¹⁾.
