We begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand the full picture of each patient’s condition, health history, and functional goals.
Local Treatment
This may include transverse friction massage to promote circulation and healing, or mobilizing a hypomobile joint to decrease stress on inflamed joints in the kinetic chain.
Continuous Assessment
A patient’s response to treatment—better, worse, or no change—leads to modifications in the modality used and generates new hypotheses for care.
Modified Care Plans
The plan of care is continuously modified and matched to the functional goals of the patient through neuromuscular re-education.
Patient Communication
Physical therapy is not a one-way street. Continuous communication with the patient is necessary to obtain an optimal outcome.
