Manual Therapy for the Sports Physical Therapist = 14 hours
This comprehensive, clinically based course focuses on manual therapy and exercise for sports rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities. Participants will gain confidence in diagnosing various sports injuries, understand loads on the body, and appreciate the anatomy and function of different structures. The hands-on training emphasizes subjective and objective assessments and the design of tailored rehabilitation and in-season manual therapy programs for common upper and lower limb sports injuries, all backed by the latest research. Spinal manipulation, cupping, dry needling, mobilizations, dynamic mobility drills are all included. By course completion, attendees will be well-prepared to apply evidence-based practices, facilitating athletes’ safe return to play.
