C-302 PTA Therapeutic Exercise and Neuro Re-ed: Spine
OurΒ C-302 PTA Therapeutic Exercise and Neuro Re-ed: SpineΒ course is designed for the Physical Therapist Assistant to enhance their clinical judgment in utilizing and progressing therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education interventions for the cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic regions. Teaching will include 3 hours of online content followed by an intensive one-day in-person lab utilizing a case-based approach to learning. Teaching Methods/Learning Experiences: A variety of active learning methods will be incorporated including online-based learning and assessment, as well as in-person lecture, laboratory, independent case study assignments, group-based activities, and role-playing. This course is designed for licensed physical therapist assistants and final-year physical therapist assistant students/interns who are beginning to intermediate learners in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.

Teaching will include 3 hours of online content followed by an intensive one-day in-person lab utilizing a case-based approach to learning. This course is designed for licensed physical therapist assistants and final-year physical therapist assistant students/interns who are beginning to intermediate learners in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.
C-304 Joint/Soft Tissue: Spine
OurΒ C-304 Joint/Soft Tissue: SpineΒ course is designed for the Physical Therapist Assistant to enhance their clinical judgment and improve their hands-on manual therapy skills including traction, graded joint mobilization, and soft tissue mobilization for the cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic regions in a safe manner under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. A variety of active learning methods will be incorporated into this course including online-based learning and assessment, as well as in-person lecture, laboratory, independent case study assignments, group-based activities, and role-playing. This course is designed for licensed physical therapist assistants and final-year physical therapist assistant students/interns who are beginning to intermediate learners in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.
