At NAIOMT, the main focus of our educational strategies is clinical reasoning. This includes a thorough evaluation and treating the whole patient. This comprehensive assessment will lead to applying an appropriate treatment with the understanding that each individualβs response may be impacted by idiosyncratic health determinants. Itβs important to our organization that we offer educational opportunities for therapists at all stages, from full course series to residency programs to monthly webinars. Explore the different types of educational opportunities we offer at NAIOMT to see which are right for you!
Courses And Certifications
NAIOMT provides a complete, seamless post-professional education pathway for physical therapists wanting to become experts in clinical reasoning. We aim to help manual physical therapists achieve the highest standards of clinical practice and effectively treat complex patient problems. To do this, we offer our students a variety of courses and certification opportunities. In addition to our standard in-person courses, we offer certifications for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapy Assistants. NAIOMTβs courses are led by our experienced faculty who invite you into a world where passion, the whole patient, evidence-based learning, and ever-evolving physical therapists are at the heart of everything they do.
Virtual And Asynchronous Courses
At NAIOMT, we strive to not only offer a diverse range of courses and educational opportunities, but we also want to ensure that we have options to cater to all of our students. Our asynchronous courses are a great option for those looking to continue their growth as a physical therapist while being able to fully pace their own learning. We host our COMT series virtually every year, giving students the opportunity to complete our COMT series without leaving their homes! We know that being a practicing physical therapist, having a personal life, keeping up with family, and advancing your education can be incredibly challenging, leaving little time to prioritize all aspects of your life. This is why we offer asynchronous and virtual courses to ensure that everyone is able to find course options that work for their lifestyle.
Free Monthly Webinar Series
Our webinar series is the perfect educational tool for everyone from undergrads looking to see a taste of what lies ahead to seasoned physical therapists looking to expand their knowledge base. Our free webinar series is designed to provide participants with advanced learning and mentorship from NAIOMT faculty and master clinicians. Each month, the webinars will explore and look to showcase areas of interest, relevant concepts, and professional development in orthopedic manual physical therapy. Our monthly series offers insight into contemporary topics in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
