C-705A Advanced Lower Quadrant Integration Part A

This course offers advanced clinical reasoning skills, developing skills to move beyond an initial patho-anatomical hypothesis toward a detailed exploration of the etiology behind the diagnosis in lower quadrant patient presentations. Complex, multi-region patient/client problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system will be analyzed in an instructor specific methodology, based methodology. Management will focus on a multi-faceted approach encompassing manual therapy, neurophysiological techniques, and various other management approaches.

    This course is a series of Zoom sessions and 2 onsite lab intensives. Participants will receive access to the online course content 2 weeks prior to the start of the course and an e-link to the onsite course materials 1 week prior to the lab intensive weekends. Liz Henry

Liz is the president of LifeForce Physical Therapy in Wilmington, NC where she specializes in temporomandibular, orofacial and craniofacial dysfunction, golf injury rehabilitation and golf performance, and dance injury/rehabilitation. She is senior consulting therapist at the Carolina Ballet. In addition to being a member of the APTA, AAOMPT, she is also a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. Liz’s entry-level training in physical therapy was from the University of Vermont, attended New York University for graduate studies in biomechanics and completed the Doctor of Science (DSc) in Physical Therapy at Andrews University. Liz underwent fellowship training with NAIOMT and was accepted as a Fellow by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Liz has maintained Board Certification awarded by the American Physical therapy Association (APTA) in Orthopaedics since 1991. She has also credentialed as Certified Cervical & Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT) by the Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics (PTBCCT) and is a certified Myofunctional Therapist by the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
