|  | | Steve Allen is a graduate of the Univeristy of Southern California 1977 with a MS in Physical Therapy. Internships included attending the Kaiser Vallejo Rehab Program with Margaret Knott and Greg Johnson for intense instruction in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. Steve is the founder of Evergreen Physical Therapy in Spokane and currently serves as Clinic Director at Therapeutic Associates, Inc. in Liberty Lake, Washington. Steve received his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1986 and is a 1996 graduate of NAIOMT. Steve received his Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy in 1998. Steve presently serves on the Board of Directors for NAIOMT. Steve is available for part time residency training and also serves as Clinic Instructor for Eastern Washington University and the University of Southern California. |

|  | | Ed received his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 1985. He completed the three month Manual Therapy Program in Vancouver Canada in 1991 and achieved his Advanced Manual Therapy Certification (COMPT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 1994. Ed has been a course and clinical instructor for NAIOMT since 1994, but is currently only active as a clinical fellowship instructor (CFI). Ed was certified as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 1996 and is a graduate of the NAIOMT residency program. He achieved Fellow status with the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 1999. He is a physical therapy consultant for the Colorado College Athletic Department. Ed has practiced primarily in orthopedic out patient settings. He is currently a clinician/owner of a private practice (Rocky Mountain Rehabilitation) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, specializing in spinal, peripheral and sports orthopedics. |

In 2002 Tim became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (COMT) with the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and in 2005 he completed his Fellowship with the NAIOMT. Tim received his Fellow status with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 2006. Tim is currently a Clinical Fellowship Instructor with the NAIOMT. Tim is a full time clinician and the director of Therapeutic Associates--Hillsboro Physical Therapy. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Therapeutic Associates, Inc. Tim has a special interest in treating complicated orthopaedic conditions including spinal and shoulder disorders.

|  | | Kenneth A. Cole received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1996 from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. He became an adjunct associate professor for Elon University Doctoral Physical Therapy Program in 1998-2000 and guest lectured at Winston-Salem State University. In May of 2000, Ken began studying manual therapy via the North American Institute of Manual Therapy, NAIOMT at Andrews University in Michigan. He completed his certification in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the North American Institute in June of 2004 and became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2007. During that time, Ken lab assisted for NAIOMT and McConnell Institute and has served as associate professor for the University of Washington’s Doctoral Program teaching gross anatomy from 2003-2005. Ken is the managing partner of Olympic Physical Therapy of Renton and Mercer Island and serves as medical staff for the US Ski and Snowboard Association. |

|  | | Tamra Coleman received her BSPT from University of Puget Sound in 1981. She has spent the past twenty two years in private practice orthopedic clinical settings. Her early post-graduate manual therapy training included courses from Paris and Rocabado and she began the NAIOMT program in 1993. She received her Level IV certification and completed her clinical residency program in 2000. She also received her Orthopedic Specialist Certification from the APTA in 2000 and Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 2001. She has assisted with numerous NAIOMT classes throughout the Pacific Northwest. Currently Tami is doing fill in work in the Central Oregon area. She is available for clinical fellowship training in Oregon, Washington, and California. |

She earned her OCS from the American Board of PT Specialties in 1993, her COMT from NAIOMT in 1994, and her Fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1999. She is also a member of the board of examiners for the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and for the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. She has been involved in clinical education program supervision of physical therapy students and in teaching the general public since 1980 and has been a member of the faculty of the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy since 1998 and served as treasurer of NAIOMT. The Orthopaedic Clinics of North America published three of her articles in 1999 and 2000. She has conducted seminars on the physical therapy approach to management of head, neck, and facial pain to dentists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. She has managed her own private outpatient clinic in Seattle since 1983 and now works at Advanced Manual Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation in North Seattle where she is available for patient care, consultation, teaching and mentorship. Alexa loves to tap dance, hike, and ski and serves as a volunteer ski instructor for Outdoors For All. |

Scott Gallant graduated in 1998 from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada with a B.Sc (physiotherapy) degree. He worked in a private practice outpatient setting since. He completed his NAIOMT level III certification in 2001 and gained COMT status in 2003. Presently he is employed by PRORehab, pc in St Louis Missouri where he directs the Manual Therapy program. Presently, he is mentoring 16 physical therapist as they strive for NAIOMT CMPT certification. His teaching experiences include assisting and co-teaching NAIOMT courses and teaching independently in the Mid-West focusing on spinal and peripheral manual therapy concepts. He is a AAOMPT member and his clinical interest is the neurophysiological effects of manual therapy.

In 1992 she did a manual therapy clinical residency in Toronto under the instruction of Wendy Aspinall PT, CAMT. In 1996 she earned her manual therapy certification with NAIOMT and successfully passed her manipulation exams in 2004. She became a fellow with NAIOMT in 2006 and gained her Clinical Fellow Instructor (CFI) certification in 2008. Currently she works in clinical practice for Cascade Rehabilitation in S. Everett Washington. She is also on the clinical faculty of the Physical-Therapy Department at the University of Washington. She would like to help those from outside her company as well as those from within gain their fellowship.

She was accepted as a CFI for NAIOMT in 2006 and received her FAAOMPT in December 2007. Laura has recently moved to Brussels, Belgium to start up her clinic as she continues to be active and supportive with NAIOMT. She will also continue to return back to the US not only for NAIOMT courses but also to provide clinical work and mentorship for Olympic Physical Therapy in Seattle as well as mentoring to outside therapists. She encourages therapists to seek certifications within any of their current manual therapy programs as well as offering guidance to therapists outside her company. She specializes with manual therapy for pediatric and adult sport and spine injuries. |

Mark is a consulting physical therapist for the Seattle Seahawks Professional Football Team, and he is on the medical team for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, traveling each year with the team. He has lectured on various topics both nationally and internationally. Mark and his wife, Denise, coordinate the McConnell Institute for the US and Canada, and Olympic Seminars, offering post graduate courses for Physical Therapists. Mark has developed a unique spinal stabilization program serving the sporting and non-athletic community, now teaching nationally. Michael is presently employed by Select Medical Inc. and is presently the program director of the spine mentorship/specialist program in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market and serves on Selects national spine faculty. He has been involved with entry level and post-professional physical therapy education since 1992. His first teacher of manual therapy was James Cyriax and he continued his learning in Norway and Canada, earning his certificate in Manipulative Therapy in 1983. He was chair of the Canadian Orthopedic Divisions Education and Specialization Committees for 12 years and a past Examiner and Instructor with the Canadian Orthopedic Division. Jim is a co-founder and a Senior Faculty Member and Senior Examiner with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. He is a past faculty member of the University of Alberta and current adjunct faculty at the Texas Womens University, Andrews University, MI, the Massachusetts Institute of Health Sciences, MA and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, MD. He also visits and lectures at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. He has presented at National and International Conferences on Manual Therapy and has published in numerous journals. As co-owner of Bodies in Balance Physical Therapy PLLC, Bryant specializes in chronic spinal dysfunction, and has extensive experience in gait analysis as well as orthotics design and modification. His interests include clinical reasoning in differential diagnosis and the interrelationships of the lower extremity and spine function in walking and running gait. Bryant’s background includes advanced training in myofascial techniques and movement re-education as a Hellerwork practitioner. She gained the MTC certificate in 1987, COMT in 1994, OCS in 1995 and FAAOMPT in 2005. For the last 19 years she has been part owner with Gail Molloy at a private outpatient practice in Denver, CO. Special interests include the manual therapy treatment of pain and dysfunction in the spinal cord patient and the traumatic brain injured patient. Beverly has been a consultant at Craig Hospital, the Rocky Mountain Regional SCI Center for 16 years. As a consultant she has been privileged to consult with rehabilitation therapists regarding the pain and dysfunction seen in the population of patient and teach manual therapy techniques to treat their patients. Lynne Pedersen received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 1996. She has prior Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering, and worked as an electrical engineer, changing careers in 1992. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine settings since 1996. She became Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2002, and became a certified orthopaedic manual therapist through NAIOMT in 2005. Lynne completed the NAIOMT Clinical Fellowship program in orthopaedic manual therapy in 2008, and became a fellow of AAOMPT in 2008. She became a NAIOMT Clinical Fellowship Instructor in 2009. She has been a lab assistant for many NAIOMT courses. She currently works for PT Northwest in Salem, OR. She worked with the Olympic Club Rugby team in San Francisco for several years as a physical therapist, and volunteers with the sports medicine program at a local high school. Her passion is using her skills in manual therapy to work on athletes of all ages.

In addition to being a Senior Faculty with NAIOMT, he has been a certified manual therapy instructor for the Olaf Evenjth system since 1990. His chapter on Upper Cervical Instability was published in Modern Manual Therapy, 2nd Ed 1992 and he has presented papers at IFOMT Proceedings in 1984, 1988 and 1992. Erl Pettman developed the integrated quadrant system of evaluation in 1980, a three-month manual therapy course in Western Canada in 1982 and founded the NAIOMT in 1984. He is currently practicing in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, and is researching early intervention work conditioning. |

|  | | Ann Porter Hoke received her physiotherapy diploma from St Thomas Hospital, London in 1971, a BSc PT in 1972 from the U.B.C, Vancouver and a transitional doctoral degree in PT from Pacific University, OR in 2008. She is a Fellow of both the Canadian and American Manual and Manipulation Academies and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist. Her awards include: Mercedes Weiss Award, OPTA, Oregon (1996) and the John McM. Mennell Service Award, AAOMPT in 2006.
She trained and worked with J. Cyriax MD in London, England from1967-72; with advanced manual therapists in Vancouver, BC 1972-82, and has been in clinical practice in Oregon since 1983, currently at New Heights Integrative Therapy in SE Portland. She has served on numerous OMPT committees including the Standards Committee for IFOMT, Standards and Examination Committees for the AAOMPT, and has been involved in the development of important publications that include the Description of Advanced Specialist Practice in OMPT (1998 & 2008) and IFOMT Standards 2008.
Her publications include: Causes of Lumbar Instability and Biomechanics of the Cervical Spine, both published in Ortho PT Clinics of NA, Acceptance Speech for the Mennell Award in JMMT 2007, and she has developed NAIOMT course manuals over 16 years.
She is the director of the NAIOMT Fellowship Program, a senior faculty and examiner, with 33 years of teaching and 38 years of manual therapy clinical experience. She teaches all levels of NAIOMT core classes in mobilization/manipulation, specialty classes on spinal instability and subacute MVA, and provides advanced clinical training and clinical reasoning instruction, primarily in Oregon and Washington. |

Brett Windsor graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, in 1994. After working briefly as a physiotherapist in outpatient sports and orthopedics in Australia, Brett spent time working in the Borders region of Scotland before moving to the United States in1995, where he worked in acute care through Indiana and Michigan before beginning practice in outpatient orthopedics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Brett began studying with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 1996. He became APTA board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2000, completed the NAIOMT Manual Therapy Clinical Fellowship in 2003, which included time studying in Montreal, Quebec, and became a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2004. He is now a faculty member for the NAIOMT organization. In addition to teaching courses, Brett mentors clinical fellowship students, and maintains an active clinic practice at various locations in the Pacific Northwest. In 2006, Brett published a clinical case study on peripheral manipulation techniques (HVLAT) to the elbow in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Brett has extensive teaching experience, both in the United States, and overseas. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Pacific University in Forest Grove Oregon and an adjunct Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania and has presented programs at both state and national meetings. He is the chief instructor for manual therapy courses taught to Italian physiotherapists at the Fondazione Turati Rehabilitation Institute, in Gavinana, Tuscany, Italy.
Brett is a member of the Washington State Physical Therapy Licensing Board and recently completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. He is a volunteer physical therapist for La Center High School and resides in La Center, Washington with his wife Susan.

He serves on the Item Bank Review Committee for the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, assisting with the development of the National Physical Therapy Examination for state licensure. Additional interests to orthopaedic manual therapy include vestibular and golf rehabilitation. He resides in Tacoma, WA with his wife Kim and their dog Tucker. When out of the clinic, he enjoys a round of golf and has taken up recent interests in wine-making and rugby.
