NAIOMT

CONTINUING EDUCATION

There are over twenty NAIOMT teaching sites in the USA offering the NAIOMT core series and NAIOMT specialty classroom courses. NAIOMT provides top quality continuing education taught by experienced instructors who are also practicing clinicians. Each two, three or six-day course is designed to function as a "stand-alone" continuing education experience or a step in a series of manual therapy training for the physical therapist.

NAIOMT specialty courses differ from our core courses. The specialty courses provide in-depth study, present other approaches to assessment and intervention, and may present materials not covered in our core curriculum.

The NAIOMT core courses are presented in a sequential series with each level building on the previous level. NAIOMT provides a high instructor to student ratio with fifty percent of each course providing clinical "hands-on" experience. Any class may be taken independently, without pre-requisites, with the exception of Level IV/800 (advanced techniques). We advise, however, that only experienced manual therapy clinicians enter the series at level III. Level IV classes are only taught in States which have no physical therapy licensing restrictions to spinal manipulation (low amplitude, high velocity techniques).

All organization and coordination details are handled on a local level, including cost, registration, and all other host site duties. . The cost for each course will vary by location. The average cost per course day is $160.00.
