Cliff Fowler received his certification as a physiotherapist in London in 1959, and passed the International Manipulation Exam in 1973. He has been a national examiner for the Canadian Orthopaedic and Manual Therapy Board since 1978 and served as Chief Examiner from 1982 to 1985. He presented papers on musculature and kinesiology of the pelvis to IFOMT in 1976 and 1984. He wrote a chapter in Modern Manual Therapy, Volume I: The Vertebral Column, which was edited by Greg Grieve and published in 1986. He manages a private practice in Abbotsford, BC. Mr. Fowler received the first David Lamb Award by the Canadian Orthopaedic Division for services to orthopaedic manual therapy.

David Lamb was a clinician and lecturer from 1965 until his death in 1996. He served as a member of the Standards Committee for the International Federation of Manipulative Therapy (IFOMT) between 1972 and 1976, was its Chair from 1976 to 1990, and served on the IFOMT Membership Committee since 1992. From 1977 until 1996 he lectured extensively and conducted courses on all levels of manual therapy including muscle energy, in Canada, USA, UK, Netherlands, West Germany, Switzerland and Singapore. His publications include: The Neurology of Spinal Pain Physical Therapy, August 1979, Overview of Physical Therapy (over the last 20 years), in Modern Manual Therapy, edited by Grieve, 1986, Manual Therapy Techniques (using the Cardon Mobilization Table).

Diane Lee received her PT degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada in 1976 and practices in an orthopaedic physiotherapy clinic in Delta BC. In addition to teaching internationally and nationally, she is Instructor/Chief Examiner for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and sits on the Board of Associate Editors of The Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy. Her many publications include: A Workbook of Manual Therapy Techniques for the Vertebral Column and Pelvic Girdle, 1986, DOPC and A Workbook of Manual Therapy Techniques for the Upper Extremity, 1989 DOPC, The Pelvic Girdle, 2nd ed. 1999; Manual Therapy for the Thorax, 1994 and numerous articles. She has developed videotapes on the assessment, manual therapy treatment and exercise program for the sacro-iliac joint.

Jim has 30 years of clinical and teaching experience throughout North America, Britain and Norway. His first teacher of manual therapy was James Cyriax and he continued his learning in Norway and Canada, earning his certificate in Manipulative Therapy in 1983. He was chair of the Canadian Orthopedic Division's Education and Specialization Committees for 12 years and a past Examiner and Instructor with the Canadian Orthopedic Division. Jim is a co-founder and a senior faculty member and Senior Examiner with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. He is a past faculty member of the University of Alberta and current adjunct faculty at the Texas Women's University, Andrews University, MI, the Massachusetts' Institute of Health Sciences, MA and the University of Maryland at Baltimore, MD. He also visits and lectures at the University of Pittsburgh, PA. He has presented at National and International Conferences on Manual Therapy and has published in numerous journals. His video series Manual Therapy and textbook Orthopedic Differential Diagnosis in Physical Therapy are sold throughout North America.

Dr. Medeiros attended Northwestern University and received his Bachelor of Sciences in Physical Therapy. He went on to earn a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa.
At present Dr. Medeiros is Professor of Physical Therapy at the School of Physical Therapy, Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he continues to see patients as well as teach.
Four times during his career he has been honored as an Outstanding Professor in his field. In 1997, Dr. Medeiros received the Professional Programs Distinguished Educator Award. Dr. Medeiros is a member and past officer of the Orthopaedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and advisory faculty for the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy.
Dr. Medeiros is a frequent contributor and editor for scholarly publications and regularly presents at educational conferences.
He is currently co-editor of the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Erl Pettman received his diploma in Physiotherapy from the Nottingham School of Physiotherapy (England) in 1972 and from the National Academy of Acupuncture in 1976. He has been an Examiner for the Canadian Manual Therapy Examinations since 1980 and Chief Examiner from 1982-2002. In addition to being a senior faculty with NAIOMT, he has been a certified manual therapy instructor for the Olaf Evenjth system since 1990. Ann Porter Hoke received her Diploma in Physiotherapy from St Thomas' Hospital (London) in 1971, her BSc PT from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) in 1982 and is currently completing a post professional doctorate at Pacific University, OR. She is a senior faculty member, senior examiner, clinical fellowship instructor and fellowship director with NAIOMT, and has 31 years of teaching and 37 years of clinical experience. She teaches all levels of NAIOMT core classes in mobilization /manipulation, specialty classes on spinal instability and subacute MVA, and provides off-site clinical instruction in Oregon and Washington.

Alexa Dobbs received her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 1974. She earned her OCS from the American Board of PT Specialties in 1993, her COMT from NAIOMT in 1994, and her Fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1999. She has conducted seminars on the physical therapy approach to management of head, neck, and facial pain to dentists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Kent Keyser received his BS in Physical Therapy from Cal State Northridge/UCLA in 1978, certification in Athletic Training in 1983, and a Masters Degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Oregon in 1987. Michael Lucido is a 1985 graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and possesses over 22 years of orthopedic physical therapy experience with clinical interest and specialization in spine dysfunction. Tamra Coleman received her BSPT from University of Puget Sound in 1981. She has spent the past twenty two years in private practice orthopedic clinical settings. Her early post-graduate manual therapy training included courses from Paris and Rocabado and she began the NAIOMT program in 1993. She received her Level 4 certification and completed her clinical residency program in 2000. Brett Windsor graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia in 1994. After working briefly as a physiotherapist in outpatient sports and orthopedics in Australia following graduation, Brett spent time working in the Borders region of Scotland before moving to the US in late1995, where he worked briefly in acute care through Indiana and Michigan before beginning practice in outpatient orthopedics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Brett began studying with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) in 1996.He completed the NAIOMT Manual Therapy Clinical Fellowship in 2003, which included time studying in Montreal, Quebec. He is now a full faculty member for the NAIOMT organization; in addition to teaching courses, Brett mentors clinical residency students, having become a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (AAOMPT) in 2004. In 2006, he published a case study on peripheral manipulation techniques to the elbow in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
Brett is employed full time at the Vancouver Clinic and works on an on-call basis for the Legacy Health system based in Portland, Oregon and is a member of the Washington State Physical Therapy Licensing Board. Brett is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania and teaches regularly to Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in the US and overseas. His primary area of interest is manipulation of the spine and extremities. Brett is married to Susan and they have two little dogs – Phil and Lexy.

Kenneth A. Cole received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1996 from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. He became an adjunct associate professor for Elon University Doctoral Physical Therapy Program in 1998-2000 and guest lectured at Winston-Salem State University. In May of 2000, Ken began studying manual therapy via the North American Institute of Manual Therapy, NAIOMT at Andrews University in Michigan. Mark Looper received his M.S. in physical therapy from the University of
Southern California in 1982. He is the managing partner of Olympic Physical
Therapy of Kirkland, and is one of the principle partners in Olympic
Physical Therapy (nine locations in the Puget Sound region). Mark is a
consulting physical therapist for the Seattle Seahawks Professional Football
Team, and he is on the medical team for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, traveling each year with the team. He has lectured on various topics both nationally and
internationally. Mark and his wife, Denise, coordinate the McConnell
